In this vital role the Senior Manager of Omnichannel Capabilities will report to the Omnichannel Strategy Director and manage the Global Customer Capabilities roadmap delivered across all regions. This role will work across global, regional, and cross-functional leaders to evolve the operating model, driving planning and prioritization of key strategic deliverables in lead markets as well as enhancing and scaling new capabilities more broadly. This role is central to integrating priorities for a clear roadmap delivering against Amgen’s customer engagement capabilities including Engagement Platforms, Data & Analytics, Marketing Excellence, and Field Excellence. The individual in this role also acts as a critical change agent driving advancements to Amgen’s customer engagement across all therapeutic areas globally.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a shared customer capabilities roadmap across regional and global teams
  • Manage global platform initiatives and cross-functional omnichannel related capabilities
  • Drive integration and coordination across the large and diverse teams and Agile Release Trains
  • Act as a key point of integration across regions, brands, and teams to advance omnichannel capabilities
  • Build strong partnerships across teams including global Commercial, Medical, and Digital Technology & Innovation to advance capabilities

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of project management experience

OR

Master’s degree and 4 years of project management experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of project management experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of project management experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product Development of Omnichannel capabilities (including Salesforce Marketing, Veeva CRM, Databricks or related Business Analytics tools, Conversational AI, Generative AI, and Orchestration models)
  • Project management experience in the commercial operations area within a biopharmaceutical company
  • Sales and/or marketing and/or consulting experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong advocacy, communication, and team cohesion skills
  • Ability to lead and manage large and complex projects from concept to completion
  • Effectively communicate with all levels, including senior management
  • Ability to influence others while fostering a value-based environment of high performance and fairness
  • Ability to understand, plan, and navigate in a matrixed and ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex technical issues

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $140,752 – $171,525.
