Nature of Work: Outdoor Sportsman Group is seeking an individual to join our marketing and on-air promotions team. This position is responsible for helping the Marketing Manager and Executive Director of Marketing execute the on-air presentation and promotion plans. Duties include coordinating and managing the placement of promotional material on-channel, creating house numbers/meta data for promos, ad-sales and affiliate.

Examples of work performed:

  • Oversees promo scheduling for on-air logs according to OSG priorities, this includes log input and revisions, providing contingency reports, etc. Works closely with traffic to ensure all open time is filled and checks promo placement before log is finalized.
  • Creates quarterly promo skeletons to ensure proper promos are being created to align with strategy.
  • Monitors show airtimes to ensure on-air promotional plans are being correctly executed. Follows up on discrepancies with Creative, Traffic, etc. and supplies answers to relevant parties.
  • Traffics on-air team marketing elements/inventory as directed.
  • Executes all necessary log updates due to inventory changes.
  • Creates and edits Master Control Fill Reels
  • Updates Ticker and Snipe grids
  • Assists with the coordination and execution of producer support documents.
  • Misc. projects as assigned.

  • Stand up to 1/4 of time

  • Clear vision at 20′ and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    1. BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
    2. Experience with PC/Microsoft required.
    3. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
  • Preferred
    1. Experience with GRIPIT Scheduling Assistant and Wide Orbit Traffic System highly preferred

Compensation:

  • Base salary range $20.19 – $24.04 per hour
