Job Summary

This position assists with long range planning and on-going analysis of real time performance and the determination of alternative plans when necessary.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Level II in addition to Level I Responsibilities:

  • Develops, modifies, and distributes standard and ad hoc reports/dashboards to better understand the overall business and/or unit. Develops presentations and shares findings as well as recommendations.
  • Working collaboratively with internal parties such as operations, IT, compliance and other partners and stakeholders using strong communication skills
  • Upon management approval, drives changes and implements solutions.
  • Acts as internal subject matter expert.
  • Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on complex problems and ensure resolution.
  • Identifies root causes of business and/or workflow problems and determines innovative sources for solutions and opportunities.

Security

Information and Physical Security is the responsibility of every employee. In your position you are required to safeguard the computer systems by following proper username and password management which includes selecting challenging passwords and committing them to memory, they should not be written down or stored where others can freely have access. This also includes securing your desk and workstation when you are not there. This includes locking your session and putting sensitive paperwork away when not physically at your desk. You are not to share your username or password with anyone. The physical security of our offices of are equal importance, never shadow or let someone shadow your entry into a Coast Professional, Inc. facility. If this occurs quickly report this action immediately. You are required to follow all Information Technology policies and procedures regarding the management of your system accounts and equipment. If you witness any security violation you should immediately report it to management.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

Experience in collections or related profession required. Experience with student loan collections preferred.

Knowledge

  • Proficiency in SQL is required.
  • Knowledge of collection practices
  • Principles and practices of customer service
  • Report preparations and techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing.
  • Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
  • Ability to design/generate and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data.
  • Experience and proven ability to generate and analyze performance data of the account(s)
  • Proven ability to prepare and present reports accurately within set deadlines.
  • Strong planning, time management and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a commitment to see proposals/reports through to their completion and effective maintenance of the same.
  • Display a high level of professionalism, integrity, and maturity.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and data manipulation is expected.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, VBA, R, Python a plus
  • 2+ years of relevant experience to include business analysis work.

Clearance

As a federal contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and security clearance granting access to classified information. The background investigation is conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and is an evaluation of the whole person to determine suitability.
