Operations & Business Performance Manager
Reporting directly to the Brand President of the Americas, you will be responsible for operations, merchandizing, forecasting and the allocation strategy for wholesales & retail (incl. reporting and analytics) for the Americas Region. Amongst other you will be working on the following priorities:
- Merchandising and Sales Operations
- Definition of stock policy, including End-Of Year Stock Target, assortments, and pricing
Allocations by network (retail & wholesale)
Ensure efficient communication between HQ and the markets on merchandizing related matters - Optimize sales forecasting and planning with commercial team
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with commercial teams
- Definition of stock policy, including End-Of Year Stock Target, assortments, and pricing
- Reporting and analysis
- Prepare regular reports of sales and stocks,
- Analyse sales results and provide specific recommendations (by family, by line, etc.) in collaboration with the sales teams (wholesale & retail).
- Track sales performance of POS (boutiques and Dealers) on a weekly basis
- Monthly stock analysis (stock level, stock shortage, stock rotation etc.)
- Retailization
- Point of contact for headquarters in Switzerland
- Ensure processes are understood and well executed across all departments
- Develop tools & programs to support Retailization initiative for the region
- Monitor & track Retailization performance for the region
- Be the contact point for e-com initiatives
Special projects
- Work closely with the Brand President on any specific temporary projects
- Coordinate annual business plan process with headquarters and local teams and manage business review preparations for quarterly reviews with headquarters
- Coordinate Watches and Wonders trade show with Switzerland
YOUR PROFILE: you have
- Master Degree in BA or any related fields,
- 5+ years experience in a similar operations role preferably in luxury watch industry,
- Preferably a first commercial experience
- Solid data analytics skills
- the agility to work in fast paced environment
- creative and excellent communication skills to liaise with both internal and external parties
- outstanding SAP and Microsoft office suite skills (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
- a healthy level of pragmatism and excellent problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (French or any other language is a plus)
- Open to travel up to 20% of time
Richemont offers a generous compensation and benefits package for eligible employees. Only candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted. Expected Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000. Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience. This position is Bonus eligible.
