We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our brand’s operations and fulfillment processes to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Amyris policies. You will lead and manage a dedicated fulfillment team, ensuring efficient handling of orders and returns across various channels, including D2C, Retail, Wholesale, and Amazon.

This is an on-site role at our Arizona Fulfillment center.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce strict adherence to SOPs and Amyris policies, holding direct reports accountable for compliance.
- Lead and manage the fulfillment team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular meetings and individual sessions to communicate goals, provide feedback, and address any concerns.
- Approve payroll and time off requests for direct reports, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and optimize operations across the company.
- Interface and coordinate with storage facilities, contract manufacturers (CMs), and freight carriers to ensure efficient delivery of products and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels of products and shipping supplies, initiating resupply orders when necessary, and seeking approval from leadership.
- Assist in forecasting and procurement activities to meet demand and achieve growth objectives.
- Implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain the security of the warehouse and its contents by monitoring and implementing appropriate safety measures.
- Track department performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements to drive operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or fulfillment operations and managing teams of five or more members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic and operational plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and project management systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to write routine reports and analyze data.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, warehouse management systems (WMS) software, electronic data exchange (EDI) platforms, and ecommerce sites is required.

The annual pay range for this role is $57,500 to $92,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis, and will vary based on the candidate’s skills, depth of experience and specific work location. This role is also eligible for incentive pay.
