Summary:
The Operations Manager – Yard, Fleet & Logistics is responsible for the management of the Weatherford Yard, Fleet and Logistics departments. This is an on-site position at our Weatherford, Texas Facility.
Safety Accountabilities:
- Accountable for the HSQE performance of the Weatherford, TX facility.
- Leads and manages the day-to-day operations of Weatherford, TX facility to build and maintain a safe, professional, and customer-centric culture.
- Creates and maintains a process improvement plan for the Weatherford facility including but not limited to: maintenance management, inventory & supply chain, customer request fulfilment, fleet and logistics vendor management.
- Oversees Fleet Management and Logistics departments.
- Partners with Business Units to forecast future fleet needs based on knowledge of upcoming projects.
- Work closely with the fleet provider to ensure that the business needs are met.
- Ensures Title work, registrations, inspections, and annual vehicle permits are in place for the Fleet vehicles.
- Tracks fleet utilization by asset and report monthly to the management.
- Controls budget, enhances profitability, ensures contract compliance and problem resolution.
- Completes monthly forecasts for Equipment Department costs and revenue in partnership with finance.
- Monitors the equipment market for new products and changes in supply and demand patterns.
- Removes all barriers to team success and enable problem solving at the lowest level to complete high-quality and timely work.
- Operate Company aligned vehicles in the yard and for Company business.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
- Performs ad hoc job-related duties/functions and projects to support the department and Construction Business Units as determined by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong experience with Yard, Fleet and Logistics Management.
- Ability to lead team members to deliver on time cost effective projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience to keep the fleet functioning in a profitable manner.
- Intermediate MS Office including strong MS Excel and Outlook. Excel skills should include; Charts, graphs, and bars, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, SUMIF, filtering information to provide quality data, creating macros to automate common tasks, managing large amounts of data.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in Fleet or Logistics management preferred
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s, Associate’s Degree or Technical School Education
- Preferred: 3+ years’ experience in Management/People Leadership
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
Anticipated base salary range: $105,000- $124,000
