OPERATIONS OFFICER

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager and Operation Shift Lead by assisting mailroom colleagues with daily tasks and monitoring the department workflow to ensure daily tasks are complete. Assist with cross training within mailrooms and monitoring the performance expectation, and ensuring the operational integrity of assigned function and adherence to Bank policies and procedures.

Banking and Investment Services Division
Banking and Investment Services plays an integral role in leading the strategic vision and execution of all banking operations. Our servicing and operations professionals partner closely with all of our lines of business to carry out critical functions, including client/deposit servicing, contact center operations, payments processing, and trade and lending operations, while identifying and mitigating risk throughout the organization. Servicing and operations professionals seek to transform and define an integrated support model through automation and cutting-edge digital technologies, to deliver an excellent experience for our clients and businesses.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process and maintain quality service by establishing and maintaining standards.
  • Ensure company vehicles are inspected and maintained according to bank policy.
  • Ensure colleagues are informed, by conducting frequent staff meetings.
  • Ensure daily record keeping, attendance, and shifts turnover reports are complete and filed according to the department procedure.
  • Provide input to management on staffing, work schedules and improvements, as business needs change, and schedule colleague’s vacations, so there’s no critical impact to Service level Standards.
  • Collaborate with Internal clients, vendors, and maintain updated knowledge of US Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS regulations.
  • Maintain adequate department supplies and ensure mail equipment maintenance is maintained, to prevent downtime and interruption of mail services
  • Fulfill FastTrack and ASAP request for Mail Services, and communicate to departments and the other Mail Centers on status updates.

    ° Requires a Series 99 license
    ° Broker Dealer Operations experience preferred
    ° Opens new accounts
    ° Responsible for account maintenance
    ° Filing
    ° Archiving
    ° Report Distribution
    ° Reports call back
    ° Floater

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Must-Have*

  • Bachelor’s Degree Or Equivalent Experience
  • At least three years supervisory experience

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience with Microsoft
  • Knowledge of Postal Regulation
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to communicate with bank personnel and good writing skills
  • Ability to function independently and make deadlines and quality standard

Compensation

Starting base salary: $24.46 – $36.69 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
