Operations Security (OPSEC)

Responsibilities

Peraton has an opportunity for a Operations Security (OPSEC) position.

  • The candidate shall have proficiency in OPSEC principles in order to support analytical and advisory requirements for the Marine OPSEC Support Team (MOST) mission.
  • Personnel shall have working experience or knowledge of associated Marine Corps, Department of the Navy, Joint, DOD and coalition OPSEC policies, doctrine and processes.
  • Responsibilities include analysis and application of technical guidelines, operational requirements, and evaluation standards for the MOST to accomplish its Marine Corps mission.

Task may require off-site support and periodic CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3 years experience as an OPSEC OR Associate’s Degree and a minimum 5 years experience as an OPSEC OR will also consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated experience providing advice, opinions, recommendations, and other non-discretionary services for Marine Corps OPSEC doctrine and policy enhancements.
  • Demonstrated experience with coordinating OPSEC support from military and Government agencies
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the development of OPSEC-specific analytical reports to support vulnerability assessments and OPSEC programs
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated OPSEC experience with the Interagency OPSEC Support Staff (IOSS), Joint Information Operations Warfare Center/Joint OPSEC Support Element (JOSE), Service Information Warfare Centers or OPSEC Support Elements and the Joint Staff
  • Demonstrated experience developing OPSEC capabilities that address DOTMLPF gaps

Target Salary Range

$66,000 – $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
