WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Responsible for monitoring asset utilization for the branch. Provide coordination of operations support as the Inter-branch Coordinator for assigned branches.
Responsibilities:
• Directs the movement of inbound, outbound, third party, CIBT & IBT products to meet customer requirements.
• Billing of inbound, outbound, third party products.
• Schedules inbound package and bulk carriers.
• Schedules outbound bulk shipments.
• Maintains current freight rate book in UVX.
• Participates in logistics planning process.
• Files and resolves freight claim issues.
• Approves freight exceptions on freight bills and purchase orders.
• Audits freight bills and approves for payment.
• Makes recommendations for transportation equipment and assists in selection process
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
• 3-5 years Purchasing or Operations experience within Univar USA or equivalent business experience
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Strong technical skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrated ability to work with people successfully
Education/Training
• 3-5 years purchasing or operations experience with Univar USA or equivalent business experience
• College degree or equivalent business experience
• Second Level 5 years experience and strong performance at first level required for promotion to higher grade
PAY & BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $55,350/year – $83,030/year. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
