Responsibilities
Performs an assortment of complex engineering duties such as the planning of manufacturing and the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus. Provides existing support to activities in the use of electrical devices and energy for commercial, domestic, and industrial use. Design and develop electronics and circuits. Perform product testing and create models and prototypes. Develop and document electronic schematics for products. Performs a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and overseeing manufacture, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of electric or electronic components, equipment, systems, facilities, and machinery used in generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy for domestic, commercial, and industrial consumption. Works directly with engineers in other disciplines to augment production size and value. May provide work leadership and training to lower level professional and technical staff. May act as internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects.
This program will support potential mission areas including space situational awareness, foreign counter space threats, emerging threat systems in denied areas, special communications to include RF spectrum, mobile capabilities, cybersecurity (HW/SW assessments), vehicle telematics, Internet of Things (IoT), data exfiltration, and cross-domain rapid integration and prototyping.
Qualifications
BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+
Required qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance w/ CI POLY.
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, Operations Research/Systems Analysis, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in research, design, development, integration, and implementation of RF prototype capabilities, subsystems, systems, and platforms based on system-level requirements.
- Proven expertise in RF engineering principles and processes.
- RF collection system experience.
- 10+ years of troubleshooting RF systems.
- 7+ years’ experience deriving/verifying RF system requirements.
- Understanding of various antenna solutions.

Salary Range
Salary Minimum: $72,500
Salary Mid: $145,000
Salary Maximum: $181,300
