DESCRIPTION:
Preparing a monthly activity report that contains related expenditures for the State Advisory Group (SAG).
Provides support as the as the State Advisory Group (SAG) liaison for committee and quarterly meetings.
Prepares State Advisory Group (SAG) meeting logistics including hotel arrangements, and travel authorization approval for SAG members.
Incumbent serves as the record administrator by transcribing and distributing meeting minutes while maintaining a working knowledge of Department policy and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
Ability to collect evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.
Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.
Ability to conduct fact-finding research.
Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to operational and management analysis activities.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Communicate effectively with customers (providers), maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with co-workers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to all candidates who possess the following experience:
Knowledge of Florida Statewide Travel Management System (STMS).
Knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law.
PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience.
A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience.

Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
