A high school diploma or its equivalent and one (1) year of bookkeeping or clerical experience.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Batch refunds from all divisions within the department for processing by the General Audit Unit in the Bureau of Finance and Accounting after reviewing, verifying, and editing refund forms, if needed. Log batch numbers into Refund Tracking System.
  • Add vendor and payee requests as needed. Monitor email box PCardDesk for vendor add requests.
  • Assist with maintaining record storage rooms, filing, and boxing records as needed.
  • Assist with sorting and distributing incoming mail.
  • Assist the Accountant I on and as needed basis to ensure the warrants are ready to mail out each day or signed for by appropriate division personnel when picked up.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned
