Job Description
The Enterprise Performance Management Architect is a techno-functional role and provides vision and leadership to the Corporate IT Finance Digitization team. This role is responsible for solution architecture and technical excellence EPM suite of products. You will set the vision for the technology strategy, architecture runway and capability expansion for use of EPBS tools like planning, budgeting, reporting, financial consolidation etc. This includes technological assessment, costing, determination of scope and effort estimation for projects/enhancement, and potential technology assistant to daily system support.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for understanding user requirements related and development related to enterprise-wide Finance Consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and Management reporting and design solutions using the Hyperion Suite of applications and compatible technologies.
- Participate in system design activities and reviews detailed application module specifications, classes, objects, methods, and other software components.
- Coordinate and integrate applications, data, and processes to support improvements, implement the scalable architecture and low-code platform to stay ahead of rapid change
- Reviews existing system architecture and develops improvements and participates in engineering reviews to determine any ambiguities
- Understand and guide the implementation of applications for Data flow, Metadata governance, Maintenance, and rules changes related to components like chart of accounts, entities, scenarios, and custom members
- Create advanced calc scripts such as allocations and additional functionality using the EPM Cloud applications and Essbase Application
- Defining test conditions and test scripts to ensure system stability and validity
- Be a technical expert in Oracle Cloud EPM suite of products like EPBCS, FCCS, EDMCS applications including experience in Workforce, Financials, and CAPEX modules of planning.
- Build partnerships and work collaboratively with FP&A business partners, enterprise architects, database administrators etc. to meet shared objectives.
- Provide timely and consistent updates and recommendations to Business and project delivery status to stakeholders.
- Use project performance measurement indicators to measure efficiency in terms of schedule, budget, and quality.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Management, Management Information Systems or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Hyperion/EPM Cloud applications using Hyperion Essbase, Essbase Administration Services, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Reporting, Smart View for Office, Hyperion Web Analysis, ESSCMD, MaxL and Essbase Excel Add-in strongly preferred
- 5+ years configuring and developing enterprise solutions using Hyperion or EPM Cloud
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
- Experience with multiple modules of EPM such as EPBCS, EDMCS, FCCS, ARCS, Profitability and Cost Management, Workforce Planning, Tax Reporting, etc
- Communication skills and ability to interact cross-functionally with diverse groups of people at all levels of an organization
- Functional knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes that facilitate creation of powerful Hyperion solutions
- Extensive experience in designing and developing OLAP cubes from a conceptual level
- Must have good hands-on experience in the writing the Business Rules, Member formulas, Groovy, Python scripting, SQL etc.

- OLAP and BI Tools: Hyperion Essbase 11.x/9.x/7.x/6.x, Hyperion Planning, EPMA, Essbase Integration Services (EIS), Essbase Studio, Workspace, Smart View for Office, MS Excel Add-In
- Languages: ESSCMD, MaxL, MDX, SQL, PL/SQL, Python
- Databases: Oracle 11g/10g/9i/8i, MS SQL Server, MS Access, DB2
- Operating Systems: Windows NT/2000 /XP/Server 2003, UNIX
- Exposure to bolt-on tools like Git, Control-M, Cloud Data Platform & Integration Services
- Experience with modern Agile development, database, and automation techniques.
- Proficient with multidimensional knowledge of building cubes, designing and developing Essbase Applications, Essbase Studio, Optimizations, ASO/BSO, Report Scripts writing, Partitions, MDX Scripting and MAXL
- Expertise in Calc scripts, MaxL, ESSCMD, Hyperion business rules, Dimension build rules, Partitioning, Data load rules and report scripts
- Exposure to other EPM tools such as Hyperion Financial Management, Data Relationships Management and Account Reconciliation preferred
- Knowledge and experience working on Oracle Cloud ERP preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $130,000.00-$214,475.00.
