Job Description:
A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for an Oracle Fusion HCM Subject Matter Expert, specializing in the Benefits Module. This is a 6 – 12 month contract with the strong potential for extension.
Please note that this position is remote for 2023 with minimal travel during testing phases (July-Sep, Nov-Dec)
To be considered for this position, the client has advised that upon placement, consultants will be required to wear a mask under certain circumstances, show proof of full vaccination or submit on a weekly basis proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR diagnostic test
Pay Rate Range: $70.00 – $84.00/hr
Responsibilities:
This position serves on a team of Oracle Fusion HCM subject matter experts working on the implementation and post go-live support of the Benefits module. This person will work closely with Human Resources, and our implementation partner during the implementation. The role is to assist in guiding the end-users through the configuration and testing of the new system. Post go-live this position will provide post production support, assist with knowledge transfer activities and help ensure an overall smooth transition process to the new software. This role will also provide internal customers with the best possible solutions to utilize Oracle Fusion HCM, roll out new functionality, identify potential process improvements, troubleshoot problems, and provide user support.
• Assist in guiding the end-users through the configuration and testing of the new Oracle Fusion HCM Benefits system.
• Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the Benefits team, including: integration testing, plan setup, with ability to troubleshoot issues related to processing and interfacing into Payroll and Human Resources.
• Advise the project team on best practices related to configuration and setup of the benefits module.
• Involved in all implementation, testing, integration and issue resolution around Benefits – including integration with Human Resource, and Payroll.
• Partner with Payroll personnel to support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues and support applications.
• Modify or develop new queries and reports as needed.
• Collaborate with peers and customers to deliver solutions.
Skills & Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Oracle Fusion HCM Benefits functional analyst and/or super user.
• Successfully completed and/or involved in at least one full life-cycle Oracle Fusion HCM Benefits implementation and/or upgrade.
• Benefits integrations experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM to include module expertise in Benefits.
• Solid understanding of the entire Benefits processes, underlying configuration tables, transaction tables, open enrollment & year-end processes, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills as well as an ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize work and promptly resolve or escalate when necessary.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc.).
