Boeing Defense, Space, and Security has an exciting an opportunity for an Order Release Supply Chain Manager in Oklahoma City supporting Aircraft Modernization and Modification (AM&M) portfolio, which includes AWACS, AEW&C, Bombers, and Executive Transport programs. As the Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of diverse Supply Chain Specialists. Order Release is responsible for providing support in analyzing supply chain material requirements driven through Engineering, executing requirements to meet timely contractual and product deliverables, and maintaining and utilizing our MRP integrated systems.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees analyzing supply chain material requirements, developing and optimizing inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain demands.
  • Maintains synchronization of the supply chain between international or domestic organizations, customers and suppliers by utilizing Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems to support global markets.
  • Analyzes material requirements to determine appropriate attributes to drive accurate demand through the supply chain.
  • Establishes order policies. Creates orders to satisfy demand requirements supporting the supply chain.
  • Develops and controls inventory plans and integrates company, customer and supplier capabilities to optimize inventory levels, turn rates and unit cost while ensuring accurate requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Schedules requirements by analyzing available resources and manages shop capacity to support on time delivery.
  • Applies knowledge of processes associated with regulating/distribution of goods through the entire manufacturing cycle to the delivery of finished products.
  • Introduces new SCM tools and techniques by working with complex processes and organizational relationships to improve the supply chain.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the candidate to commute to the Oklahoma City office at least 2 days a week.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role with both people and business unit leadership responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and/ or MRP analysis

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Summary pay range: $93,500-126,500 Annually

To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
