Job Description:

GDIT’s Strategy and Performance Group (SPG) is looking for a versatile outreach and stakeholder engagement professional to support an array of outreach and readiness activities for multiple functional areas of a federal government organization. The successful candidate will work on a team of top-notch professionals to support creation and implementation of plans to assist end users in navigating system upgrades, with activities including in-person and virtual informational briefings, support call sessions and other engagement with field office staff and the external user community. The candidate also will welcome the chance to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, distributed-work environment.

  • Support ongoing interaction/relations with the key external stakeholder groups comprising technical system end users
  • Assist with coordination of recurring meetings with key internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Create and maintain documentation related to external stakeholder groups, including summaries of recurring meetings
  • Coordinate and facilitate information- and requirements-gathering meetings and other activities focused on specific technical system enhancement development projects to define support needed from
  • Collaborate with technical staff to help translate requirements from complex concepts to technical language into content comprehendible by a general audience
  • Serve as liaison between business units to support information sharing and coordination of activities for the notification and rollout of system updates and enhancements
  • Plan and facilitate meetings on various platforms (in-person, MS Teams, Webex, etc.) with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Create and maintain documentation for tracking project status and progress for the use of multiple stakeholder groups
  • Engage in regular client interaction to provide project status updates and recommendations for processes and execution of team activities to achieve program objectives

What you need to have …

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., business administration, marketing/outreach, public policy, etc.)
  • Experience working in consulting industry (e.g., business analyst, marketing/outreach specialist, event planner, etc.)
  • Experience working in government/client space
  • Ability to obtain a Level 5 public trust clearance with background investigation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of or experience with the import/export industry (preferred)
  • Ability to coordinate task activities, timelines and communication among various stakeholders during project execution
  • Ability to adapt to evolving/changing project requirements
  • Ability to problem-solve basic technical issues
  • Competency in use of standard office tools (e.g., MS Office suite, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Comfortability working on a distributed team while working remotely
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Experience and comfortability working in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly shifting priorities

***Quarterly travel to Ashburn, VA required, along with occasional conferences.

The likely salary range for this position is $49,600 – $74,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
