Job Description
Pay Range: $67,500 to $79,500 per year
Purpose of Position:
Responsible for directing, monitoring and training four-five clerical employees to ensure all transactions from 3rd party inventory locations are completed in a timely manner. This position will be responsible for working directly with all 3rd party locations to ensure the process is working and all required information is available, will be the back-up when the manager is out of the office.
Essential Job Functions:
Direct and assign workload to ensure all processing up to date, monitor daily work load and prioritize work load to optimize profits this will include all invoicing, receiving and transfers. Balance work load and rotate tasks so all employees are familiar and fully trained to complete tasks for any of the 23 shipping locations as needed.
Maintain updated process flow for tasks as needed. Review process flow and make the necessary updates to meet the department goals, this might be creating new reporting tools, work with IT to allow for better system information and /or process updates, stay informed on special handling requirements to ensure we cover all new business requirements.
Resolve any receipt or billing issues so that inventory levels remain accurate. Report on frequency and opportunities to improve accuracy based on inventory issues we see from internal production locations daily.
Meet with all 3rd party locations to review workload and resolve issues, meet with 3rd party CSR for Foster Farms to ensure all our needs are met and review issues when they arise.
Additional Functions:
Other department tasks to assist with vacation coverage
Special projects as needed
Qualifications
Requirements:
B.S. Degree in business, statistics, or related field preferred
Three-five years supervisory experience in a customer service environment
Excellent communication, organization skills, ability to influence without authority
Three-five years shipping/receiving or inventory control experience preferred
Ability to solve multifaceted problems in a detailed and decisive manner
Strong Computer Skills with Microsoft Excel, SAP, BW, R/3 & EWM – preferred
Must be willing to work flexible scheduled – including early mornings, late evenings and Saturdays.
