Available Schedule:3 Days 6P-6A; Every Other Weekend

Pay: $19.00-$21.30 (Based on years of experience)

Essential Functions
1. Recognize and respect residents’ abilities.
2. Support residents in doing as much for themselves as possible.
3. Assist residents in meaningful ways with leisure time and mealtimes.
4. Provide confident, efficient, and complete care as outlined in the individual care plan of the resident.
5. Answer call bells within a reasonable amount of time, acknowledging the resident’s request.
6. Adhere to Kendal at Lexington’s Corporate Compliance Program by successfully completing training and demonstrating compliance with our Values and Expectations Statement in daily duties.
7. Assist with the preparation and distribution of meals and provide feeding assistance when necessary.
8. Support residents, friends, families, and staff with a friendly and caring approach
9. Participate in care plan meetings as primary care when required.
10. Report concerns and/or changes in the resident’s physical, psychological, and social conditions to the Manager and/or Supervisor.
11. Suggest alternatives to general resident care.
12. Maintain residents’ living environment neat and orderly.
13. Complete the job list of responsibilities on the assigned shift.
14. Adhere to infection control policy and procedures.
15. Maintain appropriate personal appearance and hygiene.
16. Record accurate vital signs, weights, and food intake in a timely and accurate manner in the resident’s chart.
17. Documentation of meals provided and consumed at specific time intervals
18. Employee, in the performance of their assigned duties, adheres to the organization’s policies and procedures covering Privacy and Security in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Licenses & Certifications Required:
- Certified Nursing Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia
