YOUR ROLE
- Packaging artwork approval and support in SEAL system
- Work in collaboration with Procurement area to develop alternative packaging suppliers
- Brainstorm and execute cost efficiency packaging projects
- Execute standardized documentation of Pkg. Specifications,
- Article Reports and Dangerous Goods Packaging Release
- Support troubleshooting with packaging materials in the plants and 3PMs
- Conduct site qualification management (e.g. line trials etc.) and quality optimization projects with regional / local suppliers
- As principal engineer, promote interface and collaboration with North America factories
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Packaging Engineering preferred.
- Strong knowledge in packaging material, especially for industrial items such as drums, IBCs, Jerrycans, steel and plastic pails, outer cases and palletization design.
- Basic in business acumen is required, focusing on packaging costs reduction and business case feasibility.
- Artwork approval and packaging material for dangerous goods experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with SAP and specification systems on a daily basis. Adhesive product knowledge is desirable.
- This position will work in collaboration with multifunctional teams to deliver Henkel projects pipeline of costs reduction, innovation and sustainability.
- It’s important to have the design for recyclability mindset.
- Soft skills such as leadership, agility and collaboration are well appreciated.
The salary for this role is $110,000.00 – $125,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
