Description
GENERAL PURPOSE
This position is responsible for properly packing the linen correctly as specified by the account. You are responsible for the visual and accurate content place in all bags, while ensuring linen is free of damages, clean, dry, and correctly assigned. In addition, will help productivity by communicating with your leaders of any issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for correctly identifying linen by reading the documents specific to each account.
- Responsible for inspecting and verifying quality of linen to be packed is up to the company’s standards.
- Places specific quantiles of linen into proper bags very neatly by following documented specifications for each account.
- Confirms that all product is labeled properly and is sent to the correct client.
- Ensures proper documentation is submitted for accuracy and quality purposes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- 6 months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry.
- Must possess the ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and to understand product labeling.
- Must possess the ability to read and write in English at least at an intermediate level.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
- Must be able to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently with hands, continuously reaching outperforming repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
- Must have the ability to work as a team and interact professionally with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
