PAID INTERNSHIP – SAP Basis

Position Summary:

This position is to provide first level support to SAP users on a day to day basis. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to requests received through the helpdesk. This position requires good customer communication, accuracy of work performed and thorough documentation utilizing the tools provided.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide first level contact for users seeking help with system
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
  • Walk users through problem-solving process.
  • Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
  • Update customer data and produce activity reports
  • Document internal procedures
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Keep abreast of IT initiatives and helps evaluate and communicate impact to end users.
  • Assists in creating technical documentation and manuals

Job Requirements:

  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work with global team/end-users.
  • 1 year experience in customer service and/or a troubleshooting environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities.
  • Good understanding of computer and software systems
  • SAP experience a Plus

Pay Rate: $16.00
