About the Role:
The Paid Media Branding, Senior Manager will be responsible for growing and optimizing all in-house paid media operations dedicated to Brand and Events.
This role will oversee a team of high performing growth marketers.
Responsibilities:
- Grow positive affinity for Dow Jones’ brands (Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and MarketWatch), ultimately leading to subscriber acquisition.
- Partner with external media agency to develop cross-channel campaigns that drive Brand KPIs( favorability and consideration) and Events KPIs (attendee acquisition).
- This role will report into the Senior Director, Paid Media and will work cross-functionally with teams across the Marketing org (Acquisition, Brand, Content, Creative, Engagement, etc.). This role will also be responsible for overseeing 3 direct reports on a day to day basis.
- Work cross functionally with teams across the Marketing org (Acquisition, Brand, Creative, Engagement, etc.) with an emphasis on successful relationship-building.
- Identify new opportunities to drive the business forward – i.e. emerging digital platforms, potential media partnerships, or uncovering general business efficiencies that increase revenue and profitability.
- Ensure media budgets are delivering against goals and reaching relevant audiences, including re-evaluating the media mix when business goals are not being met.
- Develop media, targeting and audience strategies to drive impact; influence creative briefs in partnership with Brand and Content.
- Review post-campaign analysis – drawing on successes and failures, in order to identify and execute tactics that are working to deliver on business goals.
- Partner with Brand and Creative, Data and Insights, Analytics, and Technology to gather data and establish new reports/dashboards.
You Have:
- 8+ years’ experience in digital media, either on the Brand or Agency side.
- Proven success running brand marketing campaigns that encompass owned, earned and paid media properties.
- ROI-driven, digital-centric capabilities with the ability to anticipate media consumption trends and emerging opportunities
- Excellent planning, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve challenges.
- Ability to manage projects independently and see them through completion- requiring the need to appropriately prioritize tasks and projects in order to hit deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on creative metrics and KPIs for business goals, process improvement projects
- Ability to drive clarity in a multi-stakeholder environment through collaboration.

Pay Range: $65,000 – $200,000
