Where you shine

VMLY&R Commerce is searching for an exceptional SEM Manager to lead paid search efforts on growing accounts! In this client facing role, you will craft the long-term SEM strategy while engaging in direct optimizations.
What your success will look like

  • Plan and Buy Paid Search across a variety brands across search engines.
  • Creating media objectives and strategies for SEM campaigns
  • Own and Manage SEM campaigns
  • Keyword Research and Ad Copy Development
  • Manage and maintain SEM budgets or SEM spend summaries
  • Track and analyze campaign data to optimize in service of client goals
  • Pull data and consolidate insights for media reports for the clients
  • Present the results reports to internal stake holders as well as clients
  • Optimize and Manage campaigns for achievement of KPIs, budgets and deadlines
  • Conduct forecasting for annual and monthly client budgets
  • Proactively work with cross-functional teams to build and deliver client reporting
  • Stay current with new advances in search engine marketing and the competitive landscape & ensure best practice and innovation in all paid search activities
  • Proactively seek out new opportunities and make recommendations to grow SEM campaigns through relationships with platform reps & vendors
  • Liaise with other channels – Display, Social, TV etc.
  • Contribute to RFPs / new opportunities as needed
  • Conduct research using media+ tools: Simmons, SEM Rush, Kantar Strategy

Who you are and what you bring

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Paid Search and Retail Media
  • Strong Google Ads & Microsoft Ads campaign management experience
  • Google Ads & Microsoft Ads certifications
  • Strong grasp of Google Analytics – ability to understand tracking, pull reports and troubleshoot
  • Expertise in Search Engine Website & Desktop Tools (Google Ads Editor, Bing Ads Editor), Analytical Tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.), Retail Media Networks, and 3rd party platform tools (Skai, Criteo, etc)
  • Strong client facing presentation skills
  • Experience working with mid-large campaigns (i.e. budgets of $250,000+)

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
