This is a hands-on position and requires deep knowledge of social media. This person will not just be functional on the platforms but will also know how to strategically leverage them. The Paid Social Media Manager will be responsible for paid campaign strategy, planning, and optimization across all social platforms-Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more, in addition to leading a team of social media specialists.
What you’ll do:
- Create and review media plans for paid social programs across platforms
- Build relationships with clients, partners, and Agency teams
- Train and mentor junior team members
- Serve as the Agency’s liaison with vendor partners and clients
- Actively monitor and evaluate campaign performance in platforms, leveraging insights and trends, and provide data-backed recommendations to the integrated Media team
- Be passionately in tune with the evolution of market trends, digital marketing innovation, and online behaviors
- Stay abreast of developments in social media including platforms, tools, applications, and research, keeping teams informed of new opportunities
- Budget pacing and management of overall budgets
- Provide comprehensive analysis of performance beyond in-platform metrics
- Contribute to new business development when requested
About you:
- You have at least 5 years of experience managing and executing paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms
- You have at least one year of experience mentoring and managing a team
- You are experienced interacting with vendors and clients
- You have a strong understanding of best practices across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and new platforms including TikTok and Clubhouse
- You have demonstrated exceptional verbal, written, and presentational skills
- You are able to work independently and collaboratively with remote team members
- You are flexible and have proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with concurrent and competing deadlines
- You have a passion for social media and understands the benefits of each platform
- You are meticulous, conscientious, and performs your work with a sense of urgency
- You thrive in a client-centric environment and have superior organizational skills and attention to detail

For SF Bay Area / CA based: H/L offers projected salary range for a position as an estimate of what the company believes is a reasonable pay scale. The actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on various factors, including the job’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s qualifications, budget availability within the department, internal pay equity, geographic location, and external market pay rates for similar positions. The salary range for this position is expected to be between $95,000 – $105,000 per year.
