This is a full-time, paid summer internship in Temple, TX.
For this role, we’re looking for candidates who are meticulous, analytical, collaborative, and eager to learn. Preference will be given to students pursuing (or recently obtained) a Bachelor’s in math, chemistry, engineering, industrial technology, material science, or related fields. Students with/pursuing an associate’s degree in a technical field will also be considered.
LOCATION: Temple, TX
HOURS: M-F, 8:30a – 5p
PAY: $20-22/hr
AS AN INTERN…
- You’ll channel your inner detective to test, analyze, and collect data on our products and raw materials in our R&D lab. Think CSI – but for laminates!
- You’ll use your keen attention to detail and methodical nature to assist in technical trials and testing, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the process.
- You may be working with our proprietary digital printer in creating proofs, managing production, and maintaining quality specifications in printing.
- You’ll help determine the nature of technical problems using root cause analysis, and suggest creative, innovative solutions (product redesign, substitution of material or parts, etc).
- You’ll learn the ins and outs of our production process as you transition projects from R&D into operations, as well as support our marketing and design departments.

- You’re working towards, or recently obtained, a Bachelor’s or Associate’s in a technical discipline, such as math, chemistry, engineering, material sciences, manufacturing/industrial technology, or related fields.
- You’re able to work full-time in our Temple facility for 10-12 weeks this summer (start/end dates are flexible – we will work with your school schedule).
- You’re interested in pursuing a career in industrial science, engineering, manufacturing, architecture/design, digital printing, science, or related fields.
- You take pride in your exceptional attention to detail, understand the principles of scientific testing, are comfortable working with analytical data, and can quickly learn new software/hardware.
- You’re inquisitive and love a good challenge.
