InGenesis is currently seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to work with our client in Mineola, NY. In this role, you will be working in the NYS Office of the Attorney General’s administrative office.

Job Duties
• Process, access and respond to consumer complaints by email, letter, telephone and in-person.
• Process office mail, handle walk-ins and answer phones.
• Under the general supervision of an Assistant Attorney General, may be required to investigate these complaints and serve as a mediator between the consumer and business organization.
• Perform research, review records, write case summaries, generate spreadsheets, records management and report generation functions and perform other duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
• Preferred Education – Technical Degree/Certificate Program or Bachelor’s Degree
