Director, Brand Marketing & Strategy – Spectrum Reach

SUMMARY

The Director serves as the Marketing Strategy expert leading, driving efficiencies, and enabling cross-functional teams to build effective National/Agency programs. Aligns national / agency messaging and campaigns with overall brand voice and programs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Responsible for defining National marketing objectives, strategies, and budget needed for the upcoming year. Leads an annual planning process to deliver a fully integrated marketing plan, utilizing both traditional and digital vehicles as appropriate for National, Agency, Adlink, Interconnect, and affiliate business.
  • Prioritizes initiatives based on the size of the prize and strategic value. Defines strategy for National audience and segments as well as the role of all channels in achieving the strategic plan in partnership with Sales Leadership.
  • Works closely with cross-functional team to develop and execute omnichannel strategies and tactics to maximize business growth.
  • Works closely with Brand director to ensure national messaging is aligned with overall brand value proposition. Leverages brand strategy and campaigns to speak to this audience in a way that will resonate.
  • Works closely with events & experience team to identify and amplify national / agency programs.
  • Analyzes progress against long term brand vision and implements changes to strategy as needed
  • Understands advertising trends, research, etc. to ensure the business is utilizing the best tools to connect with consumers and drive awareness and consideration.
  • Develops briefs to fulfill communication objectives, advertising and media plans. Evaluates creative and tactics, as well as media execution to ensure communication objectives are met.
  • Provides guidance + coaching to team.
  • Support leadership with budget management.
  • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required.

  • Establishes strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Experience in brand or related marketing field and the ability to plan and execute 360 degree marketing campaigns
Experience of integrated advertising experience ideally in the media/advertising industry (Online player, Digital Agency, Cable Distributor or Programmer)
7-10 years

The pay for this position has a salary range of $135,300.00 to $288,100.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
