NATURE OF WORK:
Performs administrative and professional work involving initiation and quality control of capital improvement programs, special projects and park renovation projects for the City’s Families Parks and Recreation Department. Employee assigned to this classification is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities to ensure projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Work is performed under the general direction of the Division Manager via the Assistant Division Manager. Performance is reviewed on a periodic basis through formal and information meetings and reports.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Construction Management and four (4) years of experience in the area of design and project management required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and a Professional Landscape Architect license preferred. Valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required.
VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
