Job Description
MBCH Children & Family Ministries is seeking a part-tim,e licensed Therapist, to facilitate in-home/virtual therapy in the St. Louis region while providing supportive case management. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO location.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide individual, family, group therapy for community clients
- Facilitate initiation of care, conduct therapeutic assessments, write therapeutic treatment plans, treatment progress reports for court hearings and family support meetings
- Manage on-going crisis intervention and provide referrals for community resources
- Support trauma model, Trust-Based Relational Intervention serving as contact for caseworkers, parents, school officials
Job Requirements
- Masters in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related.
- LPC or LCSW, or currently eligible for licensing in the State of Missouri
- Minimum of 1 year relevant counseling experience required, successful experience working with high-risk children and adolescents
- Training and experience in trauma-related counseling, behavior management, and crisis intervention highly preferred
