What you’ll do…
As the Partner Optimization Manager, you will provide and consult on Optimization Recommendations to Partners across Paid Search and Display. The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert on either Display/ Programmatic/ DSP and/or Search/ Sponsored Products and has optimization/consulting experience working with Trade Desk, eCommerce Search or Display platforms. All candidates will be considered for both the search and display roles.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor performance of Search (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands) and/or Display (DSP, SSP) and drive activities to improve performance for optimal ROI and partner satisfaction (bid adjustments, targeting changes, keyword harvesting, etc.).
  • Analyze search/ display campaign performance against client/ partner KPIs and report on trends and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Explore automation solutions to minimize turnaround time for optimization tactics to be implemented by suppliers.
  • Define metrics relevant to measure the performance of the channel and evangelize with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in establishing business plan objectives with Partner Development Managers and Technical Solution Specialists.
  • Define performance and optimization processes, SLAs & best practices.
  • Build and maintain knowledge base of workflows, SOPs, case studies, FAQs.
  • Own the relationship with our senior client stakeholders, aiming for high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop a collaborative working relationship with other agencies and platform partners.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Ensure effective communication across internal teams as well as partners.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience (3-4 years) in Programmatic OR Search, Digital Ad Ops, Media Buying, or Analytics
  • Working knowledge of ad servers, programmatic SSPs/DSPs, or auction dynamics
  • Fluent in digital online measurements: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, uniques, pageviews, visits, referrers, viewability, demo comps, ROAS, etc.
  • Comfortable with direct client interaction, including presentations and strategic recommendations, with the ability to translate technical concepts into client-friendly language.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with API and Self-Serve platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems proactively in a client-centric environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet common goals.
  • Experience of working with senior-level stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Results-driven with a desire to affect change, drive revenue and gain visibility with leadership.
  • Extensive experience managing performance campaigns across multiple paid search and/or display or programmatic platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of keyword bidding strategies, budget cap management and optimization tactics.
  • Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate / present to Sales teams and leadership.
  • Ability to nurture and retain client relationships & understand how performance can feed into wider business goals.

Minimum Qualifications…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 2 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
  • Experience with consulting or delivering optimization recommendations with expertise on Amazon and/or Walmart Search Ads or Display (Tradedesk, Social)

Preferred Qualifications…

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field or experience in related field
  • 4 to 6 Years of Advertising/agency experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge/ Subject Matter Expert in Programmatic or Search Platform
  • Experience working with Google, Amazon, Walmart Ads
