Summary: The Patient Flow Coordinator is responsible for ensuring streamlined patient flow and the most efficient scheduling of patients throughout the operational day. The PFC ensures that provider access to patients is maximized and advocates on behalf of the patients so that they are seen on the day of request.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in either Business Administration, Communications, or Nursing, Health Care Administration, Medical Assisting or other related field strongly preferred. Experience may substitute for higher education.
Qualifications and Experience:
Three years of experience in health care setting.
At least one year of clinical experience (through nursing, medical assisting or other clinical field) is preferred.
