Position: Patient Scheduler
Job Type: Full-time, M-F 8AM-5PM
Clinic Locations: ONSITE in Austin, TX 78705
Pay: $18/hour
This is a great opportunity to gain or build upon experience within the medical field as training will be offered.
We are looking to fill a full-time Patient Scheduler position with our cardiology specialty group. This hands-on role comes with the responsibility of providing the front line of customer service to patients. This role requires skill in attention to detail, time management, and organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Scheduling
- Fielding calls and transferring them to other team members
- Figuring out why patients are calling (confirming appt, prescription refills, rescheduling, canceling, need to talk to a nurse)
- Send out a message in the EMR system so that someone else can help out
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare or customer service industry
