Duties include greeting and assisting Arts Center patrons; providing set-up assistance to renters and caterers; enforcing safety regulations and arts center use policies; executing emergency evacuation procedures when necessary; assisting teachers and students during children’s arts and crafts classes; managing databases; assisting in website maintenance; and preparing and updating various reports. Duties also include serving as ticket taker, usher or box office worker and may include light housekeeping duties. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. No experience is necessary, but good communication and customer service skills are essential. Duties require frequent walking and standing. There are no regularly scheduled hours; will work on an as needed basis, per event bookings, including day, evening and weekend hours.
