The Role: Business Insights Internship
The Team: We are a small, decentralized data analytics team serving the leadership of Network and Regulatory Services. Our team members hold a variety of essential roles, from data analyst to scientist to architect, to enable excellent delivery of data analytic projects.

Responsibilities
- Will be working alongside the team on Machine Learning and Rules Based Modeling project(s)
- Collaborating with the team in planning sessions
- Will be using exploratory analysis techniques to analyze and understand small to medium size datasets
- Using logic and problem-solving to find data science and statistical solutions to problem statements
- Developing front to back solutions starting from problem statement and ending in a deliverable solution
- Will be presenting completed projects to relevant stakeholders and team
What We’re Looking For:
- A bachelor or master’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics or Data Science completed no later than 2024
- Ability to convey complex subject matter clearly and engagingly
- Proficient coding skills in Python or R, familiarity with SQL preferable
- Attention to detail and good multitasking skills
- Ability to quickly absorb and put into practice new information, instructions, or procedures, while seamlessly performing current job tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills-must work harmoniously with analysts and other employees across regions and time zones
- This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
Grade/Level (relevant for internal applicants only): 5
The Location: Dallas, Texas. Position will be Hybrid
Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates):
S&P Global states that the anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $21 to $30. Final salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
