People Operations Partner

The Role
The People Operations team’s mission is to continuously improve HR and the employee experience as a whole. As a team, we focus on excellence in customer service and HR processes that are scalable and efficient. You will own your own projects and be actively involved with all parts of the business daily, working cross functionally with other teams and handling highly confidential information. This role requires a strong combination of great customer service and a love for systems/process design. The role can reside in either Austin, TX at our GigaFactory or in Fremont, CA at our Factory location.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain human resources information, auditing data, preparing reports, proposing business process improvements, and automation
  • Supporting HR and Business leaders on operational tasks within HR operating systems
  • Communicate recommendations on initiatives and influence stakeholders through data and thoughtful interpretation of findings
  • Drive HR process changes to support the evolving needs of a rapidly growing business
  • Support Tesla Case Management Inquiries quickly and with kindness to our customer base
  • Understand the overall organization of Tesla and guide employees to the appropriate resource
  • Create and maintain positive employee relations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR Coordinator or HR Ops/Administrative experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Case Management Experience
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Deep interest in people operations/service
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage projects in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Experience using MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
  • Background in human resources, customer service or administrative work
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems a plus

      $56,000 – $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
