Job Summary:
Researches, analyzes and consults to both internal and external hospital stakeholders. Supports the activities of creating and maintaining organizational scorecards, rounding forms, and to provide statistical analysis to the organization that serves as a foundation for decision making. Provides organizational support for performance improvement initiatives including those projects that help create organizational alignment across departments and facilities. Assumes responsibility for tabulation of performance improvement data, creating graphs and results, and managing and improving the strategic review process. Orients and educates performance excellence analysts and provides organizational performance improvement education. Has substantial understanding of techniques, processes, procedures to perform the job and seeks to complete tasks in creative and effective ways. Works on activities of a diverse scope requiring minimal interpretation of policies and guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred
- Five years’ relevant experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Manages and aligns data from multiple resources to effectively and efficiently prepare reports and statistical analysis. Creates analytical reports to identify and monitor activities. Identifies and summarizes information collected for identification of patterns, trends and individual cases requiring more intensive evaluation. Consults with intra and interdepartmental personnel to review, interpret and improve data/statistical analysis and reporting for improving decision-making.
- Deploys and supports all phases of organizational projects and initiatives and to guide teams and departments to successful implementation. Supports the process for project selection, prioritization, project charter development, work plan, communication plan and resource management. Serves as data consultant and participates in organizational improvement teams focusing on quality and performance improvement studies as required. Helps prepare and creates graphs of results for external audit applications.
- Provides administrative services including maintaining, managing, developing scorecards for performance improvement software.
- Supports the organization’s internal performance excellence assessments as a certified auditor.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
