Boeing Software is looking for an Experienced High-Fidelity Digital Twin Technical Leader based out of Berkeley, Missouri.
We are currently seeking an individual to develop and support virtual machines. This work includes developing emulations of key embedded systems for use on multiple platforms for Boeing commercial and defense products. Specifically, this role will be an individual who will contribute to activities related to the development and integration of test environments, virtual machines, models and simulations in the creation of high-fidelity digital twins.

Some travel to the Berkeley site is required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
- Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
- Performs software project management and software supplier management functions
- Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software processes, tools and metrics
- Executes and documents software research and development projects
- Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations
- Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards
- Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- Experience with coding, debugging, and development
- Experience in software or hardware engineering, requirements, design, development, test, and working with software and hardware
- Experience with computer architecture fundamentals, including microprocessor, instruction set, memory hierarchy, memory mapped I/O, interrupts
- Experience in utilizing Linux and/or Windows operating systems
- Experience with Python and other scripting languages
- Experience with software and hardware interfaces
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience in ARM, PowerPC, or x86 microprocessor architectures
- Experience in Virtualization technologies, e.g. KVM, QEMU
- Experience with Cloud Computing, e.g. Azure, AWS, and containers
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:

Summary pay range for Experienced: $104,550-$141,450
