Job Description
Pool Attendants facilitate fun and enjoyment for our Resort Guests and Members. They work primarily outdoors in the sunshine alongside adults, families and children. Attendants are responsible for the safety and cleanliness of pool facilities, stocking needed supplies and fulfilling guest needs through anticipatory service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the pool deck for safety, cleanliness and guest needs.
- Greet guests, families and children with smiles and provide a warm welcome.
- Empty towel bins, restock towels, pick up trash, empty trash, etc.
- Re-stock supplies such as towels. Remove used supplies, constantly refreshing with new supplies.
- Firmly enforce rules on the pool deck s and slides with an appropriate hospitality demeanor.
- Assist food and beverage Associates and Lifeguards where needed. Help provide an extra set of eyes on F&B needs and safety.
- Check-in guests to the pool areas.
- Be an ambassador for the Resort. Offer your knowledge and assistance for Resort amenities and services.
- Maintain the cleanliness in designated pool areas outdoor spaces such as; entrances, courtyards, walkways, pool facilities, etc.
- Assure that all restrooms are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Assure that all trash receptacles throughout the designated pool areas are promptly emptied and maintained.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and inventory.
- Report facility issues promptly to Office Coordinator, immediate supervisor or manager.
- Follow safety procedures to include reporting of unsafe conditions or work practices to immediate supervisor or manager.
- Adhere to all Standards of Conduct as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, amusement park or recreation experience preferred.
- Conversational English-speaking abilities required.

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
