We’re looking for someone to join our team as a Physician Services Contract Analyst (System) who:
Develops and implements a contracting system that includes cataloging, standardization, performance measurement and regulatory compliance. Interfaces with AH executive management and acts in an advisory capacity regarding contractual and compliance requirements, client specifications, government regulations, and auditing associated with physician compensation, practice acquisitions and contractual obligations. Makes decisions that are responsible for the success or failure of business operations and is involved in planning long or short term objectives. Independent judgment is required, outside of making basic choices in the selection and application of established methods. Works under general supervision.
Essential Functions:

  • Drafts contract language for system-wide contracts and amendments. Completes all required approval points and documentation according to AH compliance and legal standards. Modifies contract terms consistent with the organization’s compensation philosophy. Assists in moving contracts towards standardization and consistency. Applies working knowledge of the techniques, principles, theories and concepts of the discipline, staff, technologies, services, and practices to complete routine and non-routine assignments.
  • Constructs and analyzes contract financial reports, overall performance, revenue impact by renewal, and makes appropriate recommendations to AH leadership on next steps. Serves as a point of contact for physician contracting and provides support, reports and education to AH management regarding all contractual arrangements. Works on problems of moderate to diverse scope requiring some interpretation of policies and guidelines.
  • Communicates with clear, timely and thorough detail to Finance teams regarding substantial adjustments to provider compensation, and provides detailed report to appropriate leadership on financial impact. Ensures provider recruitment and contract development is consistent with operational capabilities, and AH Compensation Philosophy, and takes initiative to correct problem areas.
  • Collects, reviews, and prepares contract information for presentation to the Board of Directors and has an understanding of state and federal legislation and regulations involving compliance-related issues, such as physician contracting, patient billing and coding, Stark etc.
  • Assists Finance Team with provider compensation budget and budget projections based on contracts.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
You’ll be successful with the following qualifications:
Education:

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred

Work Experience:

  • Three years’ experience: Preferred
  • Broad based general accounting or finance experience: Preferred

The estimated base pay for this position is $64,480-$78,583. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
