CGI has an immediate need for a Ping Directory Engineer to join our financial services team in Lafayette, LA, TN, Belton, TX or Columbia, SC. Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Ping Directory Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our Ping Directory server environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient identity data management, authentication, and access control.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
– Required overall of 6 years of IT experiences.
– Working experience in Ping Directory Server Deployment: Install, configure, and maintain Ping Directory servers to support the organization’s identity and access management needs.
– Performance Optimization Monitor and fine-tune the Ping Directory environment for optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
– Security Management Implement and make sure security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and authentication mechanisms, to protect sensitive identity data.
– Set up and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for Ping Directory to ensure uninterrupted service availability.
– Collaborate with other teams to integrate Ping Directory with identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) systems.
– Solve, Investigate and resolve issues related to Ping Directory server performance, data integrity, and security.
– Document, Maintains clear and up-to-date documentation of configurations, procedures, and standard methodologies.
– Compliance: Ensure that the Ping Directory environment aligns with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security.
– Collaboration: Work closely with multi-functional teams, including application developers, network administrators, and security experts, to support identity and access management initiatives.
– Expertise in Ping Directory deployment, upgrades, maintenance (certificate renewals, Oauth client secret rotations), schema updates, and solving issues.
– Experience in scripting for automating tasks
– Experience with AWS is preferred.
– Experience with deployment automation is a plus.
– 4-6 experience with LDAP services.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,200.00 – $146,900.00.
