Role and Responsibilities:
Technologies: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certification Authorities (CA), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Registration Authorities (RA), Root CA, Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL), OSCP (Online certificate status protocol).
- Role will have excellent knowledge in Windows Server (latest versions) and have the ability to be trained on PKI.
- Ability to be trained on the PSEG PKI infrastructure.
- Administration, operation, upgrade and support of Certification Authorities (CA), Registration Authorities (RA), Certificate Revocation lists (CRL), online certificate Status responders (OCSP), and Hardware Security Modules (HSM) of a Microsoft Windows-based enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Ability to work closely with PSEG Active Directory to align to current model and integration with Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)
- Have responsibility for all PSEG external certificate needs and vendor related support (ie external providers such as Digicert, Sectigo, Entrust etc).
- Provide roadmap guidance and recommendations to existing PSEG environment and future landscape (including the assessment & discovery work).
- Maintain detailed procedures, policies, standards, baselines, and work instructions for PKI administration, advise on improvements.
- Work with Ensure PKI systems align to PSEG Information Security policies, standards, and the industry best practices.
- Experience with technologies that heavily use TLS/SSL/SSH encryption.
- Manage the successful technical delivery of Information Security projects and services for PSEG by working directly with key business stakeholders, executives and project teams.
Keep up on current technologies and maintain awareness of industry trends and threats, focusing on PKI technologies.
Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is between $92,000 to $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
