We’re looking for someone who is creative, collaborative and driven to bring brands to life through licensing! You will support the development and advancement of outbound licensing partnerships across General Mills brands in key non-food categories like apparel, accessories, cosmetics and more. You will help ideas become reality by partnering with teams internally and externally from concept through execution. You will be part of a team of idea creators, staying up to date on the latest trends and looking for innovative ways to expand and grow our brands!
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist in managing day to day operations for outbound licensing across key non-food categories like apparel, accessories, cosmetics and more
- Collaborate to develop outbound licensing strategies for brands based on specific business objectives
- Collaborate with agency partner team to support brand pitches to external partners, crafting a compelling story and vision behind ideas
- Bring expertise on what’s currently happening in culture, with an eye toward emerging trends
- Work collaboratively within broader partnerships and licensing team to develop ideas and partnerships by participating in ideations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business
- At least 1 year of relevant brand, marketing or licensing experience
- Highly organized and detail oriented – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong ability to create and build ideas tied to brand strategy
- Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of an organization
- Collaborative with ability to build strong working relationships and influence across teams
- Ability to be flexible and navigate ambiguity with actionable items
- Proven track record of executional excellence
- Learning mindset – exhibiting curiosity and a desire to learn
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Partnership or client management experience
- Experience working across multiple brand, cross-functional, and agency partner teams
- Experience closely collaborating with partners to bring holistic ideas to life
- National brand experience
- Licensing industry experience
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $62300.00 – $93600.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee’s pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
