About the Role
Business Planning Manager
This is an opportunity to get in early with a stealth project currently developing in Walmart’s Store N o 8 incubator. At Store N o 8, the team will discover and deliver capabilities for the future of how we engage with technology and people, through the unparalleled scale of Walmart’s platform. We are looking for a highly organized finance professional with exceptional communication skills to build the finance function for the stealth project. In this newly created position, you will build the foundational finance systems, tools, and process for the growing team.
What You’ll Do
Reporting into the head of business operations, serve as the key finance partner working directly with senior management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations, forecasts, assumptions, and variances. Lead strategic initiatives that serve as the building blocks for global business operations. Facilitate and influence business decisions by effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives. Manage the financial planning and analysis effort and forecast various metrics for financial risks and opportunities, including professional services expenses and headcount for the business. Conduct ad-hoc (e.g., life-time-value, valuation) analysis to support business development activities and new products planning. Communicate with functional areas to understand significant variations; documenting and preparing results for presentation; and providing follow-up or answering any questions regarding financial issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
- 5+ years of finance experience
- Experience modeling video game financials and KPIs
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in finance
- M&A finance experience in video games segment
- Advanced modeling skills including advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of SQL reporting and queries
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work with senior business partners in a fast-moving business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused professional demeanor.

The annual salary range for this position is $119,000.00-$221,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives
