Responsibilities

Specific Duties: (Included but are not limited to)

  1. Compression Operation Molding, Finishing and Packaging Equipment
  2. Determine cause of equipment problems and correct
  3. Repair/Replace equipment as needed to maintain effective operations
  4. Analyze and solve productivity issues
  5. Instruct others in set-up and monitoring of equipment
  6. Perform assigned P.M. functions
  7. Adhere to work instructions to insure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  8. Monitor, Inspect, and Package Product
  9. Take corrective action, as appropriate, to maintain/improve the product quality
  10. Inspect product as necessary to insure quality
  11. Prepare, Train and Utilize product quality control plans to insure quality product is being produced
  12. Follow good manufacturing practices
  13. Relieve other personnel as assigned
  14. Other Duties as Assigned (including but not limited to)
  15. Participate in daily team meetings
  16. Contribute/implement ideas to improve operation performance
  17. Perform miscellaneous projects and data collection tasks
  18. Write, Train and monitor work instructions for existing and new employees

Qualifications

Pre Requisites:

  1. High school diploma or GED equivalency
  2. Read, write and speak English
  3. Past experience / proven ability
  4. Basic Electrical/Mechanical Troubleshooting skills
