Institutional Clients Group Operations and Technology Organizational Program Management Office is seeking a governance manager to support the Org PMO Transformation Lead to provide governance of project execution in the Transformation Program.
This role requires superior leadership & project management skills, deep business knowledge, broad connections across all businesses as needed, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and regulatory knowledge. Executive level communication will be required as well as regulator direct communication. Candidates must have experience in complex problem solving, working across multiple businesses and geographies (international), documenting corrective action plans, understand how to evaluate effective control design and key risk indicators, and writing procedures and charters.
This role has singular responsibility to speak on behalf of ICG O&T Org PMO Transformation to CPMC, the Chief Administrative Office Transformation Program Office, ICG Tech Businesses, and executive management. Communication skills need to be efficient and articulate; reporting skills need to consider relevance and actionable data.
Key Objectives Include:
- Ensuring robust ICG O&T Transformation Program governance
- Overseeing assigned tasks and ensure Programs are managed by in-business project management pursuant to compliance with CPMC requirements
- Analyzing data for Consent Order, Key Initiatives, and regulatory driven initiatives to assess cross organization impact.
- Ensuring key stakeholders are identified and engaged in compliance with the CPMC requirements.
- Ensuring their area is appropriately staffed
- Escalating program risks to the proper level of management per documented escalation protocols
- Leading book of work reviews to monitor performance against key performance metrics across the consent order book of work
- Support the Org PMO Transformation Lead and provide guidance during control effectiveness reviews
- Provide training and guidance support to the PM Community
- Enforce program and project management governance guidelines and follow up on exceptions
- Establish clear escalation paths to raise Program Management Concerns to the Org PMO Transformation Lead
- Maintain engagement with 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defense
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes & qualifications:
- Track record of exceptional performance
- 6-10 years minimum relevant experience working on Regulatory Programs is required
- Experience running a Regulatory PMO is preferred
- Experience working on Regulatory Programs is required
- Program/Project Management Certification is a plus
- Operations and Technology or In-Business Risk & Controls experience is preferred
- Senior stakeholder engagement experience
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree.
