Volt is immediately hiring for a Power BI Consultant (Remote)
Our client is seeking a skilled Power BI Consultant to help with their backlog of reporting requests. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in creating compelling visualizations, dashboards and reports using Power BI, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
As a Power BI Consultant you will:
- Develop, design and implement Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to use Power BI effectively.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues with existing reports and dashboards, and provide solutions to improve their performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Power BI development and implementation.
- Work with other team members and business analysts to ensure data is accurate, complete and aligned with business goals.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support the implementation of Power BI solutions.
This is a part time or full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development and implementation.
- Excellent technical skills in Power BI, including the ability to develop complex reports, dashboards and visualizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, business analysts and technical team members.
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure, and other relevant technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate: $50.00 – $70.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
