Description:As the Lead Systems Engineer you will:
Lead the development of the Ground Software (GSW) and GSW-related Cyber products with suppliers needed to support the Mission Payload (MPL) Ground Software integration and verification at LM with a focus on:
– Coordination and implementation of driving requirements with MPL suppliers
– Management of the supplier’s technical implementation of GSW/GSW Cyber requirements
– Coordination with Ground engineers supporting Ground integration and verification activities
– Coordination of driving requirements from the Ground Segment
– Support of the development and incorporation of Sim products into Ground integration activities
Responsibilities
Provide Technical Leadership, Guidance & Oversight to other Ground Engineering personnel on MPL GSW/GSW Cyber implementation activities:
– Early Integration tests and simulations needed to validate MPL GSW functionality and interfaces
– Resolution of Pre/post delivery testing issues
– Planning and integration of MPL GSW/GSW Cyber technical solutions into NGG Ground
– Help with disposition of discrepancy resolutions of issues with MPL suppliers when they arise at LM
– Coordination of the development of tools and products needed for integration and verification of MPL GSW
Conduct and facilitate stakeholder Meetings:
– MPL suppliers, Ground and Mission level integration WGs
– Technical meetings requiring system integrated Ground perspective
Basic Qualifications:
-Secret Clearance
-Interfacing with external customer stakeholders
-System integration, test & verification experience
-Good communication skills across teams and organizations
Desired Skills:
-Top Secret Clearance
-Previous Product Manager or Product Owner experience
-OPIR program knowledge
-Familiar with NextGen GEO program
-Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) familiarity
-Experience or knowledge of SAFe Agile Methodologies
-Worked with Subcontracts in support of Program Tasks

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 – $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
