Pricing Specialist

Location

Infleqtion has 6 office locations, operating out of Austin, TX; Boulder/Louisville, CO; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; Oxford, UK; and Melbourne, AU. This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our Louisville, CO office.

Position Summary

The newly hired Pricing Specialist is responsible for supporting a compliant and compelling proposal in response to commercial and U.S. Government Research & Development (R&D) solicitation requirements. The Pricing Specialist works closely with the Capture Manager, Proposal Manager, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), key stakeholders, and functional departments as necessary (e.g., Contracts/Subcontracts, Accounting, Quality, Procurement) to develop comprehensive and compliant Cost Proposals.

Primary Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties.   • Develop Government R&D proposal budgets in collaboration with Portfolio Technical Leads (PTL’s) and Portfolio Managers (PM’S) using company best practices
  • Responsible for the preparation, review, and submission of all Government R&D Cost Proposals
  • Collaborate with Subcontractors to develop a comprehensive and compliant Cost Proposal
  • Participate in the implementation of ProPricer; Over time, become the resident expert of the tool
  • Collaborate with the VP of Contracts & Proposals, Director of Gov Accounting, and PM’s to refine best practices and develop policies and procedures for the pricing of Gov R&D efforts
  • Responsible for responding to cost-related contract negotiation questions
  • Support commercial business quotations as needed
  • Evolve and expand knowledge and practices to align with Cost Accounting Standards as they become relevant

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • BA in Business Administration, Business Management, or similar degree program (or equivalent years of experience and education on a 1:1 basis)
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant and progressive work experience is required
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate government-defined deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively share information with technical and non-technical staff
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new and complex topics quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with all levels of an organization; Professional-level communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to thrive and produce results in a fluid, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
  • Passion for solving complex problems and challenges in a highly technical and scientific environment
  • High-level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to travel domestically and (potentially) internationally up to 10%
  • This role requires that you do not require sponsorship or a work visa transfer
  • This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Benefits

The targeted salary range for this role is $80,000 to $105,000 on an annualized basis plus eligibility to participate in our annual incentive plan.
