Lead Designer, 3D Process & Development

  • Collaborate with and engage with design throughout HBI and build the transformation of an innovation-minded team
  • Collaborate with & engage with cross functional partners to align on & ensure process optimization using digital tools & technologies
  • Collaborate, support & lead as a HBI subject matter expert in the DPC leadership team, defining digital product standards, processes & ensuring adherence to the strategic DPC roadmap
  • Support the adherence of data consistency of digital assets within libraries (Such as – PLM and DAM) to enable cataloged information.
  • Support the strategic development & creation of the foundational processes using digital tools as they pertain to product development, graphic design & print & pattern
  • Oversee & support the on-going training and upskilling of HbI product designers
  • Manage execution to test & learns/ pilots for 3D designers in line with the HBI DPC Roadmap & deliverables
  • Proactively keeping abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, new technology, regularly sharing with colleagues.

As the Lead Designer of 3D Process & Development, you will be a part of a dynamic team who are bringing digital transformation within HBI. Your role will be to identify, support & implement the development & adoption of new digitally enabled product creation (DPC) capabilities and processes. You will be a part of the DPC team continuously evolving strategic digital initiatives to enhance the product development process from concept to consumer & through collaboration with strategic partners you will deliver the creation of, 3D workflows, decimation of existing assets, documentation of workflows & the creation of standards. You will support the alignment on prioritization of corporate investments (Information Technology) that are required to enable HBI’s DPC strategies to enhance & optimize workflows, reduce sampling & increase product speed to market through the collaboration with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, Supply Chain & Omni Channels.
Qualifications

  • Required Education/Certification: Bachelors in related field or comparable experience. Apparel/Fashion Design, Graphic Design.
  • Required Years of Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ using 3D technology, including CLO 3D or Browzwear or similar 3D design and visualization software for graphics or multi media.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, & After Effects.
  • Proficient in 3D/Browzwear or in Clo3D. Understands digital materials, trims, lighting
  • Experience in designing successful apparel products.
  • Experience working with graphics and various decoration techniques & print/ pattern
  • Knowledge and understanding of apparel construction and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; being able to communicate with global teammates and partners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team and independently.
  • Computer skills, including an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The pay range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
