Principal Associate, Process Manager — Data Privacy & Sharing
As a Process Manager, Principal Associate at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for executing and enhancing processes that deliver excellence in data management. In this position, you will contribute immediately while strengthening your process management best practices.
You will be a crucial part of the Privacy Marketing Options (PriMO) team. PriMo owns a suite of services that collect, store and publish marketing and data sharing preferences for Capital One consumers.

General Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise customer teams in managing day-to-day data management responsibilities:
- Support enterprise customer tech teams in registering data accurately and completely
- Partner with product and risk on the execution of data management policies, standards and procedures.
- Contribute in the creation of centralized training documentation for tech teams and data consumers
- Ensure that sensitive data is tagged and shared appropriately through company applications
- Review / approve access requests
- Perform monthly and quarterly data attestations
- Use strategic mindset to foster continued growth of the Data Management program
- Partner directly with data management product teams to execute governance strategies
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite
- At least 1 year of process management experience
- At least 4 years of data management, risk management, compliance, legal, regulatory, or operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management or Project Management certification
- 2+ years of experience in Process Management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $103,900 – $118,600 for Principal Process Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
